HMM was your highest concoction Robinhood meme, but a few days ago you sold it to chase a new trendy name. “The stock pairs are the new meta”. “I’ll just double my money real quick on this other name and then buy back twice as much thinking cat.” But, then the market started to tank and the new bag you bought cut in half… HMM wasn’t down quite as bad, so you sold more of it because it was probably only a matter of time before it sold off that much too. And you could use the extra capital to lower your entry and buy the blood on this other name you just bought. So you do it. Now you have no HMM left, but it’s okay because this new name you bought will easily pump again. But it doesn’t. It drops another 50%. And HMM stays the same price. Maybe a bit boring for an adrenaline junky who needs his fix of green pnls and volatility daily, but still the same. So now you’re effectively down 70% from where you would have been had you done nothing. You don’t really believe in your new position, some other KOL did and they seemed to be making money left and right so you finally just followed them. But now you feel like you have to believe. And you want more than nothing else for HMM to catch up and just tank already so you can swap back to it. But, all of a sudden… HMM slowly starts to wake up. It now goes up 30% from the lows… And the bag you rotated to? It’s now worth nearly 80% less than what you would have had if you would have just held your HMM instead of over trading. You feel stuck. There’s no way you can buy it back here now and own so much less than you did. So you cut your losses on the bag you bought and you buy something else that has a much lower market cap that sounds cheap and could get a quick pump. That’s how you’ll make it all back! But then that bag nukes 75% in the next 24 hours and HMM pumps another 25%. You now have less than 5% of the capital you would have had if you would have just held. I feel like a lot of you are stuck in this position right now. My encouragement is rather than chasing a new position every day and buying something you don’t believe in to chase something you do. Just cut your losses or if you’re lucky take some profit off the bag you don’t believe in now, and ape back in to what you do. And then just chill. Stack and chill. And trust that the Robinhood Chain bull market is just getting started. We’ll see multiple multi-billion dollar cars this cycle, and HMM is one of them. Win by thinking less and believing more. We’re still so early. Even if you don’t have what you could have, that’s part of the game. Call it tuition. You’re still buying multiple dollars for a penny or two. You’ll still look like a genius far enough down the road. Quit chasing hype and believe in something. Billions will think 🤔🐈
