They said $100M was the destination. CATE thought it was a rest stop. 🐱

CATE has something most memes would kill for: distribution before valuation. 83K+ Fomo holders, 120K+ on-chain holders, strong whale interest, and yet the market cap is still under $100M while other top Fomo coins with far fewer holders trade at multiples of that valuation. That doesn’t guarantee CATE is undervalued—but if even a fraction of that holder base starts sizing up, the repricing could be violent. The bet is simple: broad attention is already here. Capital may be next.

Why I think CATE is one of the most asymmetric meme trades on Solana I’ve spent a lot of time trying to determine whether CATE is simply another meme having its moment or whether something structurally different is happening. My thesis comes down to distribution, attention, whale behavior and narrative. CATE has built a massive holder/community footprint while its valuation is still measured in tens of millions rather than hundreds of millions or billions. That mismatch between attention and valuation is what originally caught my attention. But the whale behavior is what convinced me to take it seriously. Look at Bluntz. This isn’t someone who bought early, pumped his bags and stopped. His visible Fomo history shows repeated CATE purchases beginning around a ~$30M MC and continuing through $40M, $50M, $60M and even $70M+. I went through the transactions myself. The visible history shows roughly $1M deployed into ~21M CATE, with buying continuing after CATE had already more than doubled from his earliest entries. That's important. Buying $1M at $30M and telling everyone it's going higher is one thing. Continuing to deploy capital as the valuation doubles is conviction. And Bluntz isn't the only large holder publicly supporting CATE. PoorGoat, Aurelius and others have created something increasingly rare in memecoins: large holders who appear interested in building the network rather than immediately extracting from it. Then there's the meme itself. DOGE → CATE. Dog → Cat. You don't need a 40-page whitepaper to understand it. DOGE spent more than a decade teaching the entire internet what a meme coin is. CATE's narrative can be understood in seconds. That simplicity matters because memes compete for attention, and attention is crypto's scarcest resource. Now look at the valuation asymmetry. From roughly ~$65M: $100M = ~1.5x $250M = ~3.8x $500M = ~7.7x $1B = ~15x I'm not claiming any of those valuations are guaranteed. CATE is still a memecoin. Whales can sell. Attention can disappear. Liquidity can evaporate. An 80% drawdown is absolutely possible. In fact, that's part of my thesis. I don't need certainty. I need the potential upside to materially outweigh the capital I'm willing to lose. My thesis breaks if major holders begin sustained distribution, holder/community growth stalls, liquidity deteriorates or CATE becomes dependent on a handful of personalities to remain relevant. Until then, I'm watching the opposite: Large holders accumulating. A rapidly expanding community. Persistent attention. A universally understandable meme. And a valuation that hasn't caught up with that attention. Most memes will eventually go to zero. CATE doesn't have to beat all of them. It just has to become the cat. DOGE already proved what can happen when the internet chooses a dog. I'm betting the internet eventually chooses a cat too. CATE 🐱

Strong holders, growing adoption, solid liquidity—if ATH breaks, $150M+ market cap is coming in no time.
