I have a thesis that artist coins are the most overlooked form of “creator coin” or “culture coin” - last cycle BOME was a little taste of this. SWAG another good example I think. I think artists who aren’t afraid to experiment and know to leverage ai as a tool to help them realize all of their creativity and bring their ideas to life at a scale they wouldn’t be able to otherwise are the future. Believing that and not buying at least a little of the coin of the only other OG Solana artist who seems to share the belief would be dumb. Will support more as I’m able. And will also think be thinking about where the disconnect is between this thesis and the reality of $TOADS rn - my heart, mind, and gut say this should be higher. DP works his ass off, sells a shit ton of art, has dedicated fans, has attention/engagement from the right big accounts like ansem that would typically send a coin etc. think it’s mostly people in crypto just care about money and so they buy coins that look like the coins that went to billions in previous cycle. All it takes is one artist coin going ballistic for the wider market to see the possibility here. I know talking about an artist coin like this feels icky to lots of art purists but if we can figure out “artist coins” it could be a way to fund artists to do some next level work at a new scale.
