Arc is the process of making a Circle, and Pi is the circumference of a circle, and the number of Pi is coded on the genesis block of Arc chain. The best lore i've seen.

Genesis is basically the initial config from which a blockchain is born: defines the network state at block 0, chain ID, initial parameters, pre-loaded contracts, etc. Arc's official docs confirm the genesis.json file is used exactly for that. In the official Arc mainnet genesis file published by Circle there's this field: "coinbase": "0x3141592653589793238462643383279502884197" That sequence — 3141592653589793238462643383279502884197 — is literally the first digits of π = 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197..." Circle building a chain called Arc and hiding PI in the genesis is some next-level meta.
