I keep thinking there’s a bigger idea here for Touch Grass. Regular drops are great, but the really viral version could be actual treasure hunts. Instead of showing people exactly where a rare drop is, show them the prize first. “A PSA 10 Charizard is hidden somewhere in Tokyo.” “A Jordan rookie card is somewhere in Chicago.” Then let people solve clues, go to real locations, unlock the next clue, and race to the final drop. That feels much more fun than just being lucky enough to stand next to the right pin. People would team up, post clues, argue about locations, race across the city, and make the hunt itself the content. Regular drops keep people coming back. Big hunts are what get everyone talking. And the best part is the prize can actually mean something to the place: Jordan in Chicago, Senna in São Paulo, Beatles memorabilia in Liverpool, Pokémon in Tokyo. That could make Touch Grass feel less like a rewards app and more like a real-world treasure hunt platform.
