imagine the trenches like a goldmine someone points to a spot and says “there’s gold right here. dig for a couple weeks and you’ll hit it big guaranteed.” and you’re like “nahh that’s too long” so you join everyone else digging random holes, moving to a new spot every time someone yells that they found something. months later you’ve dug 200 holes, found f*ck all, and the guy who stayed in the original spot hit gold weeks ago. lesson? buy the winners and wait!
