BASECAT is a mid-term play for me. I think $BASECAT can go $200M+ long-term. Toshi had almost 0 KOLs and still went to ~$950M. I’m not saying BASECAT repeats Toshi. I’m looking at what Coinbase is doing publicly. Coinbase is corporate and pretty obvious with crypto. BASECAT is the only meme I see them actively supporting. I think they send it. Question is timing.
watching one of the biggest $BASECAT holders cut part of his position right as the chart was trying to recover obviously wasn’t pretty and the second order effect probably hurt even more - people who were borrowing their conviction from him saw the sells and followed 🤷♂️ but strangely this makes me even more bullish - borrowed conviction is fragile 🎯 If someone else selling is enough to make you abandon your thesis - it was never really your thesis to begin with 🫵🏼 a lot of that supply just got flushed - what remains is a cleaner holder base, lower expectations, less leverage on someone else’s decisions and a market that now has to find its own conviction 🛜 maybe $15–25m is where that process finally exhausts itself maybe that’s where the real bottom gets built still here still bullish $BASECAT to billions 🐱🔵

i'm still bullish $BASECAT on a long enough timeframe and i still think it rallies towards the end of the month for the Coinbase earnings report but i need to free up capital for another trade so will take some off here if price remains low enough to allow me the opportunity later, i might top up my bags again to make me a 2%+ holder

my bias on the market right now: barring any major change in trajectory following CPI tomorrow, i think things could get quite painful/choppy in the short-term especially onchain and honestly, we may have to endure this until Q4 the BIGGEST mistake you can make here is overtrading and bleeding your capital chasing every new pair and liquidity rotation instead: hold your highest-conviction plays and aggressively buy the dips you get especially on the outperformers we're NOT done by any means far from it but you may have to endure a little pain before the real glory begins in Q4 don't get shaken out before the fun starts - Unipcs from his X account earlier today
healthy distribution is necessary if $BASECAT wants to go much higher: early holders take profits -> new holders step in -> supply changes hands -> the chart resets & there’s no way around it 🤷♂️ the only question you really need to ask yourself is: after everything we’ve seen from Base around $BASECAT does this feel like a comfy hold? to me a comfy hold is something you can buy without feeling the need to stare at the chart every 5 minutes and BASECAT feels exactly like that 🎯 ..too many signals to ignore - now let the distribution happen 🐱 🔵

I genuinely believe bottom is close to being in. Why? 1) Clarity Act should be getting approved in the next few days. Which should remove all uncertainty there currently is on this market on: - BTC - ETH - Sol 2) Base is already hinting Basecat progression based off of every tweet out there this AM. 3) Hunter Biden fudding $LAPTOP is already done. Three signs I’m taking into consideration. I plan on adding more on my other wallets. DYOR.
