more thoughts on launchpads and long eco fwiw i think stonk is probably the best launchpad on solana but it seems like there's just too much pvp from pump and new entrants like ember meanwhile on robinhood you have pons and long - one has a token and one has an ecosystem as a trade it makes much more sense to own the launchpad token itself (pump was one of my best cex trades the past 3 months, pons was the best launchpad performer) and for LONG that means owning the best tokens in the ecosystem (ai, moo, etc.) while launchpad tokens themselves are great reflexive assets as they generate revenue and fly wheel it back into the token itself, LONG is focused on flywheeling deeper liquidity for their paired assets (equities, preipo tokens, leveraged positions), positioning these new memefi assets as liquidity hubs for the next 1T of volume that flows thru tokenized equities one incentivizes for quantity of deployments and volume through them to generate fees for its native token, the other incentivizes quality of deployments and volume to generate liquidity for an emerging asset class onchain so if you extrapolate 6-12 months out i'm sure pons, pump, stonk, and others will be great businesses and i will probably try to trade the in betweens the vision behind LONG is much more appealing as my strongest hodl bet given it's aim to deepen new liquidity onchain and bring in net new participants (tradfi retail world) no hate on any launchpads - just giving my two cents on why i post a cow emoji every other day here :) long and strong. 🐮
